The Syrian civilian war has gotten completely out of hand. Syria has seen a lot of civilian deaths and the most destructions ever recorded in history.
The Syrian government has targeted the rebel groups resulting in this severe civil war and there is no end in sight as yet. What is happening instead is that there are very many Syrian civilians that have been detained in the Syrian jails unfairly and facing a lot of emotional, physical and sexual abuse in jail. The cities that were once outstanding in their life and beauty are now desolate and are covered with dead bodies and debris. In its wake, Syria has left a lot of its civilians refugees in other countries with nothing to their names.
Iran, however, has for decades been funding, training and offering weapons to militia and terror groups while offering them shelter at the same time. Iran has had a tough stance on this issue despite efforts by outside forces to dissuade them from these practices. It is a poorly kept secret that this is happening in Iran even though it is hard to understand why Iran insists on doing so. The US government has tried unsuccessfully to get involved in stopping these vices but without much luck. All that everyone knows for now is that Iran has been arming itself for years and that it has heavy and high end weaponry in its possession.
Since the start of the Syrian civil war, Iran has been in the forefront supporting the government under president Assad. President Assad took on the presidency without much experience and without the support of Iran, this regime would have fallen as soon as the war started. Because Iran was a very strong ally Syria and specifically Assad’s government, she gave her all to make sure that the regime was standing. She has even help Syria train an army of 50,000 soldiers that will help protect the government from the rebels.
At first, Iran didn’t get very involved in the war but offered to give advice and train the soldiers. When the Syrian government almost fell, Iran tightened the ropes by deploying troops into Syria to go fight against the rebels. Another thing Iran did is to add into the chemical weaponry of Syria. She has sent her scientists to Syria and even provided the chemicals needed to build these weapons.
Because the rebels have taken most of the Iranians cities and boundaries captive, Iran can only use the Syrian air corridor to get the arms into Syria. There is an air corridor they established to get the arms both to Syria and to Lebanon through Syria. The US government has allowed only three airlines to get these weapons from Iran to Syria. Turkish authorities have stopped trucks that were headed for Syria and found them carrying loads of arms for example machine guns and ammunition.
